Mysterious Lexus Concept To Debut in Tokyo

Lexus has announced it will have a total of 11 production models on display at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show set to open its doors on October 25 with the first press day.
Khodrocar - These road-going cars are going to be joined on stage by a new concept that will celebrate its world debut at the show, but unfortunately there aren’t any details as to what it might be. We will have to patiently wait until the 25th of the month to find out.

According to the latest yet-to-be-confirmed intel, Toyota’s premium brand will allegedly introduce the sporty LS F in Tokyo. If we were to put two and two together, the concept could actually be a high-performance LS, though nothing is certain at the moment of writing. If by any chance we are weeks away from seeing a more athletic version of the fullsize luxury sedan from Lexus, expect the LS F to use a newly developed biturbo 4.0-liter V8 engine delivering somewhere in the region of 600 horsepower.

Another plausible scenario is the three-row RX – also rumored to make an appearance in Tokyo. The model in question is said to carry over the same wheelbase as the standard RX, but with a slightly enlarged rear overhang and the back window moved forward towards the rear. These changes will be made to accommodate two extra passengers sitting on the rearmost seats where visibility won’t be that great, according to a report coming from a Japanese magazine.

The regular LS will be at the forefront of Lexus’ Tokyo lineup, which will also include the LC coupe, the updated CT hatchback, and the NX crossover.
